Lovely house with everything we needed for a happy stay.

Points positifs : The house is spacious with everything that you need to cook and a good washing machine and dishwasher. Plenty of cleaning material etc. Internet access was quick and never dropped out. The deck at the back of the house looked over the river, we spent a lot of time here watching the water moving and the wild life. Easy to park outside the house and a choice of place to have lunch or evening meals. Shop that also sold bread.

Beautiful House and Location

Points positifs : A stunning location. Easy walk to a few restaurants and cafe's. The property is beautifully decorated inside and was the perfect size for our family. Beds were super comfy too

Points négatifs : Unfortunately the decking had been washed away the week before, so the outside area we could use was tiny. Basically a small path. However this was no fault of the owners. Instead we took our meals out to the picnic area in front of the house, which is just as beautiful and very quiet.

Peaceful and beautiful property on the banks of the Charente.

Points positifs : The property was located on the banks of the Charente in a very beautiful and peaceful village. There was no shortage of home comforts in the property and everything was perfectly prepared - even a goody basket awaiting our arrival :) High speed internet, Wi-fi and comfy settees were there and lovely bathrooms.

Points négatifs : The only TV was on the top floor which meant there was a long walk to the kitchen and bathrooms - a very minor point as there was two large settees and blankets in the room.

10/10 perfect stay in a beautiful house in a stunning location with lovely owners.

Points positifs : It was absolutely stunning. The town that it is I. Is just beautiful. We wish we could have stayed longer. The house itself was so homely and spacious and the decor was lovely. The owners were extremely helpful and left us a lovely little gift basket when we arrived. They were fantastic. We would 100% come back and recommend to others.
