Points positifs : We loved the character of the place, very spacious gite and excellent location in a beautiful village. The hosts were friendly and informative. The kids loved being able to swim in the river nearby. Excellent boulangerie next door.

Points positifs : Charming comfortable house, perfect for our stay. Hosts were lovely and gave us a guided tour of the house on arrival explaining where everything was, and tips on local restaurants, shops etc.

Points positifs : Authentieke vakantiewoning, centraal gelegen in het mooie Verteuil sur Charente. Warm onthaal door de eigenaars, Simon en Diane, die ons ook verrasten met lekkers in keuken en ijskast. Propere vakantiewoning met airco die meer dan welkom was.

Lovely, historic property in the center of a beautiful village. Great hosts. I'd stay again.

Points positifs : A lovely, historic property right in the center of a beautiful village. I booked it last minute due to some travel changes but enjoyed staying here and would stay again. The hosts were friendly and very responsive. The house is roomy, clean and full of character. The pantry/fridge was very thoughtfully stocked. The location was perfect for what I wanted.

Points négatifs : I had some trouble with the old door lock/door. The host helped me via phone but it would be good to improve that if possible. Older guests might have issues with the stairs to the third floor/attic. It would have been nice to have a comfy couch or more comfy chairs on the ground floor.
