Points positifs : La décoration ,la literie tres confortable la taille des sdb.L équipement de la cuisine. La petite cour fermée pour un petit apéro. Pouvoir faire un feu de bois dans l insert ,tres tres agréable . La proximité du village ou il y a un très bon bar avec vu sur le château

Points négatifs : Le parquet qui grince ,mais normal dans un demeure de charme.

Points positifs : très bien situé a deux pas du village à pied choix esthétiques affirmés pour la décoration, assez dépaysant

Wonderful stay in picturesque village in Charente

Points positifs : We recently had the pleasure of staying in La Cour Blanche Verteuil-sur-Charente, and it was an unforgettable experience! The accommodation was a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The rooms are impeccable and tastefully decorated set so close to the picturesque village on the Charente River. Our host Debbie and Shaun were incredibly attentive, with an excellent welcoming package in the fridge and lots of wood and pellets to make a cozy fire for the cooler Autumn evenings a la French countryside living. The location was ideal—just a short stroll to the historic Château de Verteuil and local facilities in the village for eating. Whether your intention is relaxation or exploration, this accommodation stands out as an excellent choice. We confidently recommend it to all visitors of this picturesque village and the scenic Charente countryside. The extra bonus is that this accomodation is dog friendly!

Beautiful house, stunning village location.

Points positifs : The welcome basket of bread, cheese, wine, milk, ham etc was so lovely! The house was super clean, really nicely decorated and comfortable, and in an incredible location just a few minutes walk from Verteuil centre for boulangerie, restaurants, butchers, cafes, shops etc, and much needed dips to cool in the gorgeous Charente river that runs through the town.

Points négatifs : It was extremely hot and difficult to keep the house cool. Not the owners fault as it was almost 40 degrees some days and we were provided with fans! But that was the only negative of the stay.

Points positifs : What a fantastic place! We can't recommend the gite enough. It's absolutely fabulous. Very tastefully decorated throughout, with such a lot of thought and care gone into renovating it. It has everything you need, including a lovely patio area with a BBQ. Debbie is a such a lovely host and left cheese and wine in the fridge for us on arrival. The village itself is stunning with some fantastic views of the château and afternoons spent on the river Charente. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday. We can't wait to come back!

exceptional house in a beautiful location

Points positifs : The house is quirky and beautifully decorated. A gorgeous covered courtyard with a track leading down for the dogs to have a quick walk. Short walk down to the river where the dogs can enjoy a swim. Minutes from a couple of bars and restaurants, antique shops, and Vin Cave for your wine! Parking directly outside the house. The hosts were amazing, really friendly and gave us some great tips.

It would be hard to beat La Cour Blanche regarding value for money

Points positifs : We loved the location, and all the facilities within the house.

Points négatifs : If they could have more than two toilets that would be advantageous.

Points positifs : We have been coming to the Charente area to visit family for many years - this property when above and beyond any property we’ve experienced before. Absolutely beautiful decor!
