Really enjoyable and the hosts were so accommodating. Highly recommended property.

Points positifs : Th location was beautiful. Two minutes from centre of Confolens but quiet and elevated with fabulous view over the back garden and the sound of the water mill beneath. Stunning.

Points négatifs : The pillows could be improved...but thats all. Everything else was just perfect!

Great Location, Great Hosts

Points positifs : Steve and Michaela were fabulous hosts, very welcoming and supportive throughout our stay. The gite is set in a great location with stunning scenery, also minutes walk from the centre of Confolens with all its history, beauty and amenities. We were blessed with great weather for March and able to benefit from the large garden with plentiful seating area, the only noise being birdsong and the flowing river. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cooker, airfryer, microwave, kettle & toaster to allow us a balance of being able to cook at home (there was also a washing machine, if needed). The gite was clean with fresh linen and towels, and plenty of space, yet having a cosy homely feel. A massive thank you to Steve & Michaela for your support and advice during our first visit to The Charente.

Points positifs : Comfortable and with a secluded garden, only 5 minute's walk from the centre of Confolens.

Points négatifs : With no dedicated sitting room/lounge it would have been less comfortable had the weather not been in our favour.

Points positifs : Very good accomodation for the centre of Confolens. Communication from the owner was very good and friendly. There was secure storage for our bikes. The accomodation was very comfortable and suited our needs. Good kitchen space and bathroom. The garden area was excellent, private with good views. The tables and chairs in the garden are ideal for relaxing and dining.

Cozy and super hosts

Points positifs : nice little flat situated in the old part of town, super outdoor area and great views, a mill next door provides the soundtrack, 'little corner of paradise'

Points négatifs : I'd wished for a bigger seating area
