Points positifs : Parfait du début à la fin. Le lieu est apaisant et chaque détail est pensé pour garantir un séjour des plus agréables. Le dîner ainsi que le petit-déjeuner étaient un véritable régal. L’espace jacuzzi-sauna est également plaisant et d’une propreté irréprochable. Les hôtes sont accueillants, souriants et disponibles. Un sans-faute.

Points positifs : Je tenais à vous adresser un grand merci pour votre accueil si chaleureux lors de mon séjour chez vous. J’ai passé un excellent moment, dans un cadre à la fois paisible et très soigné. Votre gentillesse, vos petites attentions et la qualité de votre service ont vraiment contribué à rendre cette expérience inoubliable. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent, le repas délicieux, le spa exceptionnel ainsi que votre maison qui respire le confort et l’authenticité.

Points positifs : pour une première visite j'ai été enchanté par rapport au prestation le petit déjeuner et le repas étaient copieux et délicieux. les hôtes sont charmants et acceuillants.

A memorable stay in a lovely chateau

Points positifs : The location is excellent with free parking just outside. We were welcomed by the young couple who own and operate the chateau, and were fortunate enough to be their only guests that evening. We had access to a lovely sitting room, the garden and the on-site spa, and there were some lovely touches like a refreshing welcome drink and fresh flowers. Our bedroom was comfortable and well equipped. A real bonus was the availabilty of an excellent top class meal, prepared to order, on a Sunday evening. Breakfast was equally good. There is a lovely relaxed feel to this place, which comes from the owners' excellent rapport with guests and their ability to be always available, but never intrusive

Points négatifs : Maybe it's just us, but we found the sitting room and dining room a bit chilly in the evening.

Points positifs : Charming property with original features and an enterprising young couple developing the business. Good breakfast.

Points négatifs : We missed out on the spa because we misheard ‘do you want to use the spa in the morning?’ as ‘do you want to use the bar in the morning? Otherwise, no complaints

This is a gem of a place and the evening meal is worthy of mention in the Michelin Guide.

Points positifs : This compact Chateau is owned by a young couple and they are lovely people. They speak very good English. She was an au pair in Glasgow! He learnt to cook whilst staying with an Aunt in Los Angeles. There are only 3 bedrooms and each is decorated differently and to a very high standard. The couple are justly proud of what they have achieved in furnishing the chateau. If you stay, please take up the offer of an evening meal. There are 2 menus and we chose the Ducky menu. It is as good as any fine dining experience you may have had elsewhere. I attach photographs from this menu.

Points négatifs : Whilst we were offered an aperitif, we were asked just before we sat down for dinner. Might we suggest that the offer is made a good 15 minutes before dinner is commenced. This then allows sufficient time to enjoy the drink, which can be taken in the lounge, before moving into the dining room.

If you are looking for peace and tranquility and excellent dining, you could not wish for a better hotel.

Points positifs : Everything, but particularly the discrete but attentive care of the young couple who own this small, beautifully and thoughtfully furnished hotel in the heart of Parthenay. Our too brief stay was enhanced by excellent dining, both dinner and breakfast.

Points négatifs : There was nothing we disliked.

Points positifs : Host family exceptionally welcoming and helpful . The accommodation and whole ambiance was very stylish and matched the property exactly
